About the channel
Welcome to the RoverFiveThree MINI Cooper restoration, preservation, and admiration channel. We specialize in the first generation R52/R53 modern MINI Cooper supercharged S models; and more specifically, the face-lifted 2005-2008 factory John Cooper Works examples. Our goal is to share the intense passion we have for the Frank Stephenson designed R50/R52/R53 BMW/Rover platforms. Watch our videos documenting how to refresh worn components, how to restore for originality where possible/reasonable, and how to improve/customize your MINI strictly with an OEM+ mindset. We will also showcase rare/unique/collectible MINI parts, work through long-term and short-term project cars, and ramble on incessantly about seemingly esoteric facts and quirks related to this cherished automotive platform.
