About the channel

Sheet Music Video. The worlds most beautiful music with easy to follow high definition closed captioned sheet music. Classical music is just better when you can actually see it! I decided to start this channel after the New York music critic Alex Ross wrote an article about a madrigal with "rising chromatic steps"'. He posted a video on his website of the music accompanied by a venetian painting. My first reaction was - I want to see those "chromatic steps" and the "really ecstatic, spine-tingling event" in the video itself, not just a static image. Seeing the sheet music was almost as important as hearing the music itself. Hence my first upload: Luca Marenzio's 'Solo e pensoso'. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZJlj1uy8cSA
