Modern ways of life and work leads to the new fancy conditions known as "Lifestyle conditions" or diseases by the time you reach your 40s and 50s such as prediabetes, diabetes, PCOD/PCOS, Thyroid issues and skin conditions (e.g. psoriasis) to name the few common ones. #genx #silverandsolo So, you have been there...and struggling with medication that is only treating/managing the symptoms and not getting to the root cause. My name is Amrita. I developed a thyroid condition which was diagnosed officially diagnosed in March 2023. This was triggered by episode of intense stress. Since then, it's been a roller coaster ride - medication side effects, adjusting dosage, bloodwork every quarter! I am choosing to change my diet to get things back onto track. My goal is to heal my own body with lowcarb, plant based and gluten free food and at the same time share the knowledge to my circle of family and friends who are supportive of my initiatives.
