About the channel

Welcome to Sugar Maple Farmhouse! I'm Rachel and I'm so glad you're here. Join me and my family as we learn how to live on a 7 acre farm and build an organic, more natural life that relies more on the dirt beneath our feet. In 2018, Kevin and I decided to buy a farm, pack up our suburban life and move two states away. Now we are learning to live more sustainably on seven acres of land in a renovated farmhouse in Western Michigan. Our channel will feature mostly cooking videos with recipes developed by me. Food is a passion of mine and I look forward to make meals from scratch using fresh ingredients from our garden. Every now and then we will share some of our adventures on the farm as a family too.
