Swaroop Films is an independent filmmaking space focused on story-driven cinema that explores human behavior, quiet tension, and the moments beneath the surface of everyday life. Swaroop Films is interested in cinema that stays with the viewer, invites interpretation, and values presence over explanation.. Swaroop is a hobby film maker, with a total of 8 short films and 1 Hindi Feature to his credit. His films has won multiple awards at the national and international level at various competitions including Government of Maharashtra's Dadasaheb Phalke Janmabhommi Puraskar for his short film 'Odh-Longing'. He is influenced by the work of Alfred Hitchcock and has self learnt the art of writing and film making without going to any formal school of writing or filmmaking. He loves to write stories and make films that connect to the viewers's conscious and makes them think, like in his films - Odh, Darwin, Diary of a Common Man and Chaos in the Calm.
