If you’re interested in food forests but feel stuck on where to start, this channel is for you. When I first discovered food forests, the idea clicked immediately. A beautiful, productive space built mostly around perennials, one that gives back year after year, made far more sense to me than creating another system that demanded constant work. But when I tried to design my first one, I got overwhelmed fast. Plant lists, spacing, soil, water, wind, animals, everyone had a different opinion, and none of it felt like a clear first step. What finally helped was changing how I began. Instead of trying to design the whole food forest at once, I focused on one tree and one small guild. I planted it, observed what happened, adjusted, and repeated that over time. On this channel, I share a simpler, more practical way to build a food forest, one that helps you create a space that feeds you, looks beautiful, and becomes something you genuinely enjoy being in.
