I’m Yakov, and I’ve been building software since 2017 👨🏼💻 On this channel (formerly known as the Swift Bird), I explore software development (in Swift and beyond) from the most essential to the most advanced topics: memory management, data structures, protocols / interfaces, and more. My goal is to help you start out in software engineering, prepare for a job interview, or finally build that pet project you’ve been delaying for years. The key idea of the Code Bird is that every technology, framework, and programming language is merely a tool, and you should pick the best ones for the job—which is building first-class products no matter the platform. As such, I’ve got hands-on experience with Swift, Objective-C, and TypeScript / JavaScript.
