This Day In Baseball: Brings back the Golden Age of Baseball. Maybe you like me and long for the past. You miss baseball the way it was when players seemed like giants, heroes, and sometimes villains. We listened to games on transistor radios when we had to get the dial just right and watched them on 13” black and white TVs with rabbit ear antennas. You and I are one and the same. My name is Tom, and I have been researching baseball for two decades. The stories my Dad told me when I was young made me fall in love with baseball. I love hearing or seeing players in their own words, reading quotes or headlines from the past, and listening in real-time in the 1920s through the 1960s.
