The Uganda Olympic Committee (UOC) was constituted in 1950 and recognized by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) in 1956. It is the National Olympic Committee (NOC) recognized by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) pursuant to the Olympic Charter. The Uganda Olympic Committee (UOC) acts as an agent of the International Olympic Committee, Commonwealth Games Federation and the Commonwealth Youth Games to uphold and promote Olympic and Commonwealth ideals to its affiliates and stakeholders by providing support, guiding policy and delivering programmes through it's organs and structures. It's membership is comprised of 30 affiliated member federations/associations. This is the official channel for all it's activities and media.
