About the channel

I’ve always loved old surf movies, and it’d be a bloody shame to see them disappear forever. That’s why I started this channel. Every film you see here is captured straight from a VHS tape in my collection. I’ve chosen to leave them just as they are, so you might spot the odd tracking glitch, blue screen or a bit of tape wear along the way. To me, that’s all part of the VHS experience. It’s how we watched them back in the day. My hope is these uploads bring back a few good memories for those of us who grew up wearing these tapes out, and maybe introduce a few younger crew to an era of surf filmmaking they’ll never get to experience otherwise.
