About the channel
The channel's focus is quantitative trading in commodities markets. The idea is three-fold: 1) Show how to apply mental models from "Virtual Barrels" to current market conditions when the right opportunity comes. https://www.amazon.com/Virtual-Barrels-Quantitative-Springer-Economics/dp/3031361504 2) Show commodity traders that some academic ideas might be worth looking at and how to make them more practical. 3) Explain to academia how the real world of commodity trading works vis-a-vis assumptions in many of their studies. We hope to bridge the gap by making theoretical commodity studies more practical and helping commodity traders navigate in today's increasingly sophisticated world of technology, quants and algos.
