About the channel

Vision Forward's Tech Connect is dedicated to bringing up-to-date information about blindness and low vision technology to people who are blind or visually impaired. Featuring two assistive technology specialists who work in the field, Tech connect covers all areas of assistive technology, from tech demonstrations, to in-depth looks at how to do specific tasks, to conversations about technology issues. With a live stream every other Thursday, and a produced video released every other Friday, the Tech Connect YouTube Channel is an essential resource for people with an interest in low vision and blindness technology - wearables, CCTVs, OCR devices, accessible GPS, blindness and low vision apps, computers - we do it all! Tech connect is a resource provided by Vision Forward Association in Milwaukee, WI. Vision Forward empowers, educates, and enhances the lives of individuals impacted by vision loss through all of life’s transitions.
