About the channel
The CPGFA has moved into the new millenium with the continued aim of representing the professional game fishing charter operator and the people who work within the industry. This representation goes much further than just the Cairns region, with members right down the east coast of Australia. Lobbying to government and industry, on behalf of those members will continue as a matter of importance. With the CPGFA’s “Code of Practice” the association’s members have lead the way in the tourism industry in both conduct and safety. The very important ongoing research into the fishery is of high priority and CPGFA will continue it’s support into the future.
