Welcome to Oldskoolbball. Basketball history gets simplified way too quickly. This channel is my attempt to complicate it again. A player gets remembered for one shot. A great team gets reduced to one championship. An NBA season becomes one Finals moment. Go back to games and interviews, and the story looks different. That is what I do here. I make original basketball documentaries and video essays about NBA history, legendary players, classic teams, rivalries, forgotten games, and moments that changed the league. Sometimes it is a famous story worth looking at again. Sometimes it is something buried in an old game or interview that sends me down a completely unnecessary basketball rabbit hole. Every documentary and video essay is independently researched, written, edited, and produced by me. The full documentaries are exclusive to this YouTube channel.
