Opera Ritorna 🇸🇬

About the channel

Opera CAN BE FUN! We strive to spread that message so it can return to the mainstream, where it formerly had a place along other more contemporary musical genres. Today, opera is regarded as high art but once upon a time, it was popular entertainment. Here, we'll show you how you can get the most out of the great operas. For beginners, we'll point out what to listen for in the music and singing as well as the effects they should leave. You'll start to appreciate how opera is like a deep bed of gold to us fans, where the further you dig, the greater the riches to be found. For those more experienced, we'll walk you through the masterpieces. We'll reveal their fullest emotional and dramatic potential and present how the great opera singers are able to realize them in their performances. Besides helping you enjoy the highlights better, we'll also help you sit through the problematic sections better. Your next time with them will be smoother. We seek to cover as wide a range.
