About the channel

Sound & Vision makes videos of UK car rallies. We started with 8mm Cine Film, then moved on to VHS Video Tape, then later on to Super8 and Mini DV. We have well over 100 events recorded from the mid 70's to the present day. The main purpose of the channel is to archive and preserve this footage, making it available for those who were involved in the event either as organizers, marshals, competitors or for rally enthusiasts in general. Where possible we have also provided links or uploads of entry lists, results, route information etc. Much of the early footage is amateur and low quality, reflecting technology of the time it was filmed. We are also happy to archive footage filmed by other amateurs and or companies to eventually provide an organized archive recording these events for future viewing. If you have footage even from only one event please contact us as we would love to hear from you and include your films in our archive.
